Week 6 Part 1

                           Facebook Research

Difference between Post Reach and Post Engagement: Post reach shows you the number of people who viewed one of (your) own posts. While Post Engagement measures the amount of views, clicks, comments, likes and shares that one of (your) specific posts receives.

Importance: Knowing the difference between the two is very important because if one of your posts gets a high reach of people, you can't just  assume that's good. The engagement can be low while the reach is high. Also, one of the main points that I believe is very important is that post engagement represents how engaging your posts actually are. This can be used to adjust things like your target market and the content of the post to help you get more post engagement and post reach.

In use: After acknowledging the difference between post reach and post engagement, how can we use these two to better serve our customers? Lets say that I have a great product that solves a problem for many people. I made a post that is reaching a high number of people, but at the same time the engagement is low because of the content of the post. This is a great way to analyze your own work and fix the mistake so you serve your customers a great problem solving product. Also, the post does not even have to be about a product. It can be about anything that you want other people to be apart of, contribute, pay attention to, support, etc.
